FINALLY. no 2
Few weeks between my first message to you and this one, but at least I can say I haven't given it up yet posting superimportant news from Down Under. No, I mean Down Upper, anyway from this colourful city.
London's 2012 outstanding plot to top Bejing's Olympic ceremony will be a hard task but four years should be enough finding the most beautiful girls and ladies to the surely worse ceremony fade into the background. So what's "our" - I feel a bit as a Londoner - plan to top everything happened on this very first day in big China? What's going on in Britains Mr. Bean shaped heads to a better festival. Honestly, they have already recognised that there's maybe nothing they could do better. So what? Brilliant idea to simple let the Olympic ceremony being placed city wide. Not to bad, I will almost feel like in a Champions League conference switching: "Gooooooal in city of westminster, the gorgeous performance of the indian..... Gooooooal in north London, Wood Green, colourful costumes ... Goooooal in front of Big Ben...." Well, good luck London. But I'm totally sure you'll find your girls.
So far the latest news to our Olympic programme.
What else happened in the last weeks?
Sometimes there was Pub time, which is is not really a hard task as hundreds of pubs are just down the streets. English beer is not available but I reckon that there is simple not a single beer brewed in this hard-drinking country. It's just the ale and cider they do, but anyway, good stuff!
I was just thinking of some food and remembered my first entry message "fish and ships...". After weeks strolling through London's tourist and non-tourist places I hardly found a place to buy this typical food. Years ago there was like thousands of them, replaced by the kebab take away huts. What a pity!
Kuni left us for a month to go back to Japan, but Manami was straight on her way to be our new flatmate for this time. It was quite hard to communicate at the very beginning, Japanese teachers are more concentrated into writing and grammer stuff. Sure, most of them can't really talk so how should they teach..
Manamichan left London two days ago for Paris, but we had a huge meal with a big mixture of international beers from Poland, Jamaica and Australia. But the absolutely delicious dinner was even better than our Wiener Schnitzel which appealed btw. really really well to my Japanese mates. Sure, at least there was self-handmade breadcrumbs on it!! Pictures can be seen in London's Japan-Daily-Newspaper ;) "Austrian Wiener Schnitzel with lovely potatoes, handmade-breadcrumbs, lemon, cranberry sauce and foreign beer to be best dinner so far!"
.. well, yes ..
Should I spend a few minutes to report my bicycle drama(s)? No, this would likely be more than just minutes and again this topic would water my eyes, so let's leave it at this stage and keep my eyes dry.
But just to let you know: I have one!
Ok, I think many many other things happened in the past but my laziness of posting and posting was too big so I forgot a lot of interesting things. Beer, you devil!
So see you soon. Hopefully earlier than in another 7 weeks! Pictures to be uploaded .. hopefully ;)
the end
